![]() The big difference between the two models used by Lotus on the Twin Cam (non-emissions 175CD-2S, and Federal emissions 175CD-2SE) is how they were set-up. The basic architecture of the various Zenith-Stromberg CD carb models is fundamentally the same. Also look for markings on the needles, and paint-marks on the diaphragm springs to tell you what bits are installed. If remnants of those are on your carbs, then they're more likely CD-2SE. Only the CD-2SE had the Temperature Compensator and Throttle Bypass add-on devices. The CD-2, CD-2S, and CD-2SE are all variations on the basic CD-2. I assumed federal spec as one carb has a blocked off pipe on top of main body and both have bocked off (what appear to be) breather holes from the main body sides.ĭon't put too much stock in what's marked on the dashpot. Your response does make sence, I obviously have the CD-2S as dahpot states CD-2, any further advice on fine tunning would be appreciated.
